Default what about these exteriors?

I'm working on a couple of spec houses that will be next door to each other. The first one is about 1600sq.ft. and the next is 1800sq.ft.

What is your opinion on the looks of these?

Chris,

You asked.

I am a custom homebuilder / designer and used SoftPlan since 1997 V9.

I am guessing you have narrow or perhaps shallow lots. I recently looked at several plans 1600 - 1800 SF as a model home for a development. Personally, I do like the domination of the Garage, the fact that they protrude into the front yard, and that with a protruding Garage and side Garage Entry, a large percentage of your front yard is driveway.

I would post an elevation(s) of some we liked, but the info at bottom says I am not allowed to post attachements.

Hi txlandlord, yes they are for extremely narrow lots,

Sorry, I looked at the control panel and can't find a way for unregistered people to upload pics.
You could use a picture posting service like flickr and then link to it.

The renderings look good.

I only have one complaint is a common one that I have with MANY designs. It's a small one but it's noticeable.

When it rains, water dumps on people as they come to the front door due to roofs sloping towards the entryway.

Avoidable? Sometimes. But then again sometimes not.
