Welcome to Inspired Habitat,

What is the Inspired Habitat? I don't know exactly what it is. I think we will have to use our imagination and discover that. 

Inspired Habitat is something like the virtual world's you may have heard about for example "Second Life"  except that Inspired Habitat is a community of real people using the web to communicate over long distances. 

My idea is that this would be a place where we can work together to make our homes and our built environment as good as they can be. I think we should all be free to each do what we want and make some part of this place what we each think it should be. Generally the Inspired Habitat person will be helpful to others, have a positive attitude, believe in continuing education and think that we can make our built environment better by being creative and working together. You can see many of my ideas so far but this is not my place. This is a place for anyone that would like to have a place on the web. I think that the web will be a big part of our future and enable us to work and communicate more efficiently.

 to influence, move, or guide by divine or supernatural inspiration, to exert an animating, enlivening, or exalting influence on, to spur on : IMPEL, MOTIVATE, AFECT 

  Habitat

 the place or environment where a plant or animal naturally or normally lives and grows, the typical place of residence of a person or a group, a housing for a controlled physical environment in which people can live under surrounding inhospitable conditions (as under the sea), the place where something is commonly found

More than anything Inspired Habitat is about community. 

I don't think there is a better way to make an online communty currently than we can with discussion forums. Forums make it easy to chat, organize information, provide links to other sites and collaborate more efficiently. Any of these links will take you to our vBulletin Forum.
